"Tekes" Waterfall - Lake Tuzkol and the Ketmen Pass

Your adventure begins with a departure from Almaty in 4x4 vehicles. The road will pass through the village of Chilik and the picturesque Kurtogay tract, offering views of the Charyn River canyon.

The route then leads to Tekes Waterfall, one of the most impressive in Zhetysu. Trekking along a mountain trail leads to it, and the reward is the sight of a mighty stream cascading from a height among cliffs and pine forests.

In the evening, you'll set up camp at the foot of the mountains, dine by the fire, and spend the night in tents under the starry sky.

The next day, the journey continues to Lake Tuzkol, a rare salt lake offering a breathtaking panorama of Khan Tengri Peak. The route then takes you through the Shalkode Su Valley and the Ketmen Pass, where, from an altitude of over 3,000 meters, endless views of mountain ranges and serpentine roads unfold before you.

In the evening, you'll return to Almaty filled with new impressions and a sense of adventure.
