BAO, Kimasar and Ayusay — a triple touch of mountain beauty
This rich tour takes you through the most picturesque corners of the Ile-Alatau National Park.
First — a walk along the Kimasar gorge, surrounded by pine trees and silence. It is easy to breathe here, and the panoramas of Almaty from above are mesmerizing. Then — an ascent to the legendary Big Almaty Lake (BAO), located at an altitude of 2,511 meters. Its bright turquoise water against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks seems to be from another planet.
